Current and future watercirculation in the project
designed and created by Sabrina HoiYan Young

When it rains or snows a lot in the north, the dam built in Ouarzazate is opened and a part of the water can reach this region. This water runs slowly through canals and reaches our land several weeks later. We lead the water into our fields through several irrigationsystems.

1. The property

2. Rain / melted snow water running through the canals & irrigationsystems throughout the gardens.

3. Manually built water reservoirs, the future well & future water ponds.

4. The water is lead from the canals into parts of the land: the fields are filled with water for a few days. The palms drink and grass can start growing.

1. Regional rainwater in the fields.

2. With at least 2 days of heavy rain, the fields get watered thoroughly.

3. The fields stay wet for several days.

4. Grass, salads and wheat can grow again. The property changes from dry, barren land into green fields.
