A space for travelers to unwind
To keep the project running we will build a small guest space, in the shape of traditional nomad tents in the garden, where travelers can disconnect from their busy lives and enjoy the stillness and beauty of the surroundings. It can be used as a resting place before the travelers visit the Sahara desert. Our guests will be surrounded by flowers, fruit trees and herbs that we will plant throughout the whole garden.

Desert tours
While rebuilding the old property where we are based, we also built our small-scale tour organisation OMSahara Tours from the ground up since January 2019. These trips have generated a small income for the project and created meaningful experiences for many visitors to Morocco. After building the guest space and purchasing a means of transport, we will be able to generate a stable income and thus our project plans can be realized more quickly.

Awareness
Besides presenting the beautiful desert, it is important for us to show the reality of the changing nature and people's lives. With this we want to introduce more awareness in tourism and give our customers a taste of how life in the desert used to be - and is today. Said's growing up in the Sahara has given him a broad and exceptional knowledge, many connections in the desert, a lot of ancient wisdom and many lesser known facts to share. We want to take people on a truthful adventure and share with them more than what is only visible on the surface.

The income provided by the guest huts & the desert tours will be used for the progress of the garden, the education centre & the women’s community and for maintaining the whole project.
