Bani Hayoune Garden non-profit foundation
On October 3rd 2023 we founded the Bani Hayoune Garden non-profit foundation. The non-profit is located in Wageningen, the Netherlands and will carry out its activities for Es-Said Et-Talmoudi’s & Linde de Greeff’s Bani Hayoune Garden project in south east Morocco.

Goal
The goal of the Bani Hayoune Garden foundation is to make the village of Bani Hayoune and its surroundings more livable for the local population, so that people can continue to live there.

We want to combat desertification and return trees, plants and insects as sustainably as possible to a drying oasis on the edge of the Sahara in Morocco. The non-profit foundation will contribute to nature conservation in the Sahara desert. In addition, we want to establish an educational workshop space and artistic workplace for the women and children from the Sahara region. The organisation encourages collaborations between travelers, artists and the local population. We want to support local and nomadic women in generating income. The Bani Hayoune Garden foundation will also contribute to the maintenance of the age-old Amazigh Sahara culture.
