A livable environment
Nothing can survive without water. We want to finally make the step towards digging a well, planting trees and building a communal space for women, children & guests. This requires water and money. We are working on a big project to which we dedicate our lives. Due to the situation and the harsh climate in which the project is located, a lot is still needed to be able to move forward. We are making mud bricks from sand and water with the incredible help of volunteers. Water is essential for that. We have taken the first steps towards creating a garden. The plants - even palms - are struggling to survive due to lack of water and protection. We recycle all our water but it is not enough. And besides that, water is necessary to construct the buildings. Currently we live with temporary reservoirs made of plastic. These are breaking due to desperate roots growing through them in search of water. We need metal and concrete to build stronger reservoirs.

We want to make this environment livable, for ourselves and for everyone else, so that people can continue living here. We help the earth and we can do this together with your contribution. The place we live in has incredible potential, we have potential, but we have come to a point where we lack the resources to move forward.

A car is essential because it offers the possibility of a stable source of money for the entire project. We regularly organize Sahara trips and lose this income by hiring a driver with a car. When we own a car it opens many doors and offers a lot of possibilities. The project will be able to proceed faster and with the income of the car we can purchase the rest of the materials, trees and food for the whole community.

Help us realize this project
With your help this extensive project can be realized & finished. A lot of work has been done already and we have come to a point where we need to make some necessary investments to continue. This is why we make a request upon your help and truly hope that you are as excited as we are to realize this project. 

• The money raised through this crowdfund campaign will first of all be used to drill a well and install solar panels. As soon as the water source is available, we immediately start our food forest plan and continue planting trees, herbs and a wide variety of plants. We will work on improving the productivity of the land by planting many seeds for food and fruit trees. There will be a large irrigation system and the current water reserves will be converted into strong, stable water reserves made of concrete and metal. Besides the garden water is necessary for all the construction work.

• A car is necessary for transporting construction materials, trees and finally to transport the products made by the women to outside organizations. The car will also be used to generate an important income for our entire project and to be able to purchase the rest of all the materials and trees. A strong car will make desert trips easier and it means we are no longer dependent on hiring a driver & car for the Sahara tours. 

• We will complete the purchase of the land. Linde, Said, his father and all the volunteers can continue living on the land and keep working on this important project. 

•  We build a wall around the whole property to protect the garden from storms and wild animals.
  
  
• With natural materials we will build yurts for guests so that the first start of an income can be generated to finance the further progress of the project.
  
  
• The main house will be completely finished and restored.
  
  
• The education center for children and community space for women will be built next.
  
  
• Finally, internet will be installed to enable virtual exchanges.

What we need most quickly is a well, a car and solar panels. With the income from the Sahara trips generated by car, we can purchase a part of the materials and continue to pay off the land slowly.
